Ordering from China

I'm continuously ordering things from China on the eBay and AliExpress.
Now I ordered a USB LCD microscope. This one:

Arrived, but no battery included.
Ok. Lets talk with the seller (the gray italic is just my thoughts, not actually was in the letters)

Me: The item arrived without the rechargeable battery. I don't know if this is intentional or not (I'm aware that certain regulations doesn't allow the shipment of the battery). Anyways: Please tell me the exact battery model needed, and if keeping out the battery was unintentional, I'd like to get one.

Seller: Thank you for your kind email and sorry for the trouble.
Sorry to say the item does not include a battery.
Because of the aircraft accident, our shipping company
does not ship items with batteries included now.
Powered by: 3.7V-4.2V Rechargeable lithium battery
In this case, how about you buy the battery in your local place?
We will be responsible for the cost of the battery.

Me: Yes, I can confirm, that you are a complete idiot.
Let's assume, that you haven't got a clue about, what kind of battery is needed, but you will never admit it.
So, to help you. Fortunately I had a Nokia battery, what almost fitted into the unit. Based on this battery I made some research, to find a bit shorter one. Actually I found installed and tried out.
Please be so kind, to add to the description to the unit, to help to the future buyers. The battery what fits into the unit is the Nokia BL-5B. I bought one, for nuts, so I don't need any refund.

In addition, one of the LEDs on the bottom is dead, what I not fill as a serious problem. I'll repair it instead of sending back.
As I not really like if somebody think I'm a fool, this will be the first time when I got the article I ordered and will not add a five star review.

My newest "project"

My older daughter asked me to create some lighting to her into her paper lamp.
I had twenty minutes to achieve (together with the parts collection).

And yes, if you switch it on, it lights up. Purple! Awesome! :-)

Back to work

The vacation is over. We arrived back to home. From Monday I'm going back to work, and the school is opening also.
I was thinking a lot during my vacation. Many new project ideas come into my mind, and I was thinking, how can I change on the fact, that many of my projects are waiting to be get finished. More and more projects, longer and longer.
There come the idea to announce for myself the POM (Project Of the Month). From this moment I will assign a project to every month, what will be finished in that month. Will it work? I don't know, we will see.
I want to start with simple things.

UPS

On Monday tried to access my office computer remotely. It didn't work. Checked the servers beside it that ones worked correctly.
Yesterday morning I come to the office and realized that the desktop's UPS is dead. (I've UPS on my desktop because this office building frequently produce momentary power outages and I lost my unsaved work many times.)
Today I disassembled the UPS:

I'd like to give some attention to a crowdfunding campaign. Actually a Hungarian one. I've three kids. They are cycling.

Project ideas

Millions of things whirling in my head. I'm thinking about electronic and mechanical projects worth for five years. I'm just starting to develop many of these in parallel, therefore the execution goes slowly or even left unfinished.
I think it would be a good idea just to write down these and when I have something to add just write to it but not start to develop as projects until most of the currently running projects are not finished.
This give the opportunity for the readers to comment it and if somebody needs the product just tell it to me in comment or personal message, the project may get higher priority (I said "may". I can't promise anything right now).

English posts

I was not writing here for a long time now. I realized that I need more and more the english language posts.
From now on I'll translate and publish my older posts here. It will go out backwards. This means I'll start with the newest one and go back in time. The new posts will come out in parallel with the Hungarian version.
